It’s starting to feel like summer in the PNW, which means it’s about time for a highlights post of the adventures and shenanigans I’ve been up to in the past season. No big trips during spring, but as usual, I ended the ski season and started hiking and foraging for shellfish. Here are the photo and video highlights.

I did ski one time during the spring, and that was to Sun Peaks near Kamloops, BC. Sun Peaks is the 2nd largest ski resort in Canada, and has a more family-friendly vibe and terrain. The day I went, it snowed in the upper mountain but rained in the lower parts, which didn’t make for the best conditions, but glad to have visited a new resort.
For the 2024/2025 ski season, I skied a total of 16 days, with 14 on the Ikon Pass and 2 days at Whistler. So I didn’t beat my record of 17 ski days from the previous season, but I did go on 3 multi-night ski trips which is a record. Got my skis tuned and waxed, and will be ready for the next winter.
As the weather got warmer, I transitioned to hiking and clamming. Here are the rest of the highlights.

That’s all for my spring highlights this year. Pretty normal, and not as eventful as the winter. I do have a work trip coming up in the summer, and hopefully will be doing more fun activities in the summer. I don’t have any long vacation plans in the near term since I’m trying to save up for a bigger trip down the line. As for work, things have been going well with my new employer, and I’ll be sure to make more progress. That’s all, folks, and thanks for reading.
