TonyJiang.com has been online for 11 years! Woohoo!! Break out the champagne  . I actually remembered to post in August this year, which is when actually anniversary is. In previous years I would forget until September or even October to post this message.
Regarding my collection of websites, I don’t have much to report on in the past year. Didn’t do any major revamp or additions. Work has kept me busy, and on the weekends I try to do something outside of my home. I should probably at least go back to drawing and produce some artwork for this website. The crabbing guide is still the most popular out of them all, but traffic is slipping like the last few years, probably because I haven’t crabbed in Vancouver for a while, and there are new competition. Ad revenue is of course down, due to the lower traffic and the prevalence of ad blockers. Oh well, it’s not like I’m going to make a living out of these websites haha.
I recently bought a new smartphone in the form of a LG G5. It’s only been a year since I bought my LG G4, and I got a new phone because the G4 broke and became a paperweight. Actually, the G4 that broke was a refurb that I bought to replace the first one (which was a brand new unit) that I lost in a lake… No more refurb phones without warranties ever again. So far the new G5 has worked quite well, and hopefully the decision to go with another LG won’t come and bite me in the behind. Here are just my impressions and some pictures of this previous generation LG flagship.

It has been almost a whole season since I’ve posted here. Spring has passed and the hot and humid summer of the Southeast is now here. It’s time look back at all the fun activities I managed to do during the spring (despite having little in the way of vacation days) and show some photo highlights.

Spring is finally here, and with it comes the warm temperatures and pollen. It also means it’s time for me to post about my winter activities. Winter tends to be the slow season when it comes to activities, but I managed to get out and keep life from getting too boring. Here is just a quick list of my winter highlights with some photos to boot.

When I went back home for the holidays, I noticed that my dad bought himself a chin-up bar. He bought the Multi-Gym Pro by Perfect Fitness, and I thought it looked pretty neat so I bought one once I returned to the US. This post is my thoughts on this pull-up bar with some pictures.

I’m back in Canada for the winter holidays, and my family did a bit of Boxing Day shopping. Our big ticket item this year was a new TV for my parents, and we ended up getting a 50″ 4K Smart TV in the form of a Samsung UN50KU6270.

It’s been a little while since my last travel and fun post, and during that time autumn has passed by and winter has taken over. I tried to have some fun during the cool and colorful autumn season though, and here are some highlights of what I’ve been up to.

Another item that I bought during Black Friday sales is a new tablet. I picked up a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 for my parents, and here are some pictures and quick first impressions.

The Thanksgiving weekend has come and gone. I did a bit of everything: went to some dinners, traveled a little, and some Black Friday shopping this year as well. This was the probably the most I’ve spent on a Black Friday, because I picked up a new laptop. The Lenovo ThinkPad T410 I got when I started grad school is now over 6 years old and getting a little long in the tooth. I ended up getting a refurbished Dell Latitude E7270 from Dell Outlet, and this post is some first impressions of my new laptop… or should I say “ultrabook”.
